The house, completed in 2026, is located just outside Berlin. One of its greatest assets is its dramatic setting on a slope directly overlooking the shoreline of a large lake, offering exceptional views throughout the day and into the night. The 370-square-metre house comprises an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, a back kitchen, three bathrooms, three bedrooms, a dressing room, a sauna and a TV room.
The interiors are defined by a palette of natural materials, including timber, linen and ceramics. The ceilings are finished with sustainable clay panels and limewash, while the walls are treated with the same natural lime-based finish. The pale grey limewash creates a subtle, tactile surface across the walls and ceilings, gently diffusing and filtering both daylight and artificial light to create a distinctive, atmospheric quality.
