The apartment is located in the center of Szczecin on the 24th floor of a newly built building. The location guarantees a unique view of the city panorama from the windows. The new plan required a general renovation and partial reconstruction. The apartment’s equipment is dominated by natural materials: wood, wool, linen, stone… The interior was equipped with furniture and accessories designed by the Loft Kolasiński studio, such as a table in the dining room, wardrobes, bed, and bedside tables, as well as kitchen and bathroom furniture. We also designed the steel joinery elements in the bathrooms. We gathered a collection of furniture, lamps and accessories to equip the apartment, mainly by Danish and Polish designers. Among the furniture and lamps, several vintage elements underwent carpentry and upholstery renovation. Of particular note is the restored armchair by Ivan Matusik. Its design was created in the 1970s to furnish the Kyjev Hotel in Bratislava. To decorate the walls, we used photographs by the Billy & Hells duo and posters from the Helmut Newton exhibition. One of the decorative elements in the apartment is a 100-year-old jug for storing olive oil, originating from Greece.
